Professional Affairs
The Professional Affairs Committee (PAC) was re-established in 2007 as a way for MNS to engage actively in advocacy issues related specifically to the daily practice of our members. It’s mission, in short, is to advocate for the field of professional neuropsychology in the Commonwealth, to provide MNS members with practical resources and advice for professional practice, to interact with insurance companies to ensure access to care for our services, to support training programs, and to advocate for the field in the community. It is our goal to support and incorporate all members within the neuropsychology community including practicing clinicians, researchers, educators, and students. The Professional Affairs Committee also strives to foster ties with APA, INS, NAN, and other state and national organizations with similar agendas that allow us to take a “big picture” approach to our local dilemmas, as well as notify them of issues that come our way. We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
For more detailed information on our current activities, we welcome you to read our PAC-Flash publication and/or newsletter submissions which can be found in the members section under the Professional Affairs Committee.
If you are interested in joining the PAC please feel free to contact the chair.
